Sarah is Of Counsel with Alexander Sides, joining the firm in January 2020 and founded www.LaCyberLawBlog.com in March 2020. At the forefront of the emerging legal technology market, Sarah primarily practices in cybersecurity, data security, and privacy law matters. She negotiates and drafts IT vendor agreements, HIPAA-compliant policies and business associate agreements, and corporate policies to help clients enhance their cybersecurity posture while ensuring the protection of individual and consumer privacy rights. Sarah also advises clients on pending legislation and drafts legislation for municipal entities on cyber law issues. She holds a GIAC Law of Data Security & Investigations (GLEG) certification.
Sarah graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia Honor’s College in 2006 with a B.A. and as a Distinguished Military Graduate.
She graduated cum laude with her J.D. from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in May 2009.
She further graduated the Judge Advocate Officer’s Advanced Course at the Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School on the Commandant’s List.
